Concrete Colour Systems’ Pattern Stamped Concrete provides the look of random slate, wood or stone. As an alternative to plain grey concrete and paving, it adds individuality and style.

When applying Pattern Stamped Concrete, the multiple colours and textures used can create a realistic look and feel. It is ideal for any new horizontal concrete structures where a two toned textured surface is appropriate.

The process is suited to home exteriors and pedestrian areas, but Concrete Colour Systems suggest that another colouring system should be used on highly sloped areas or areas requiring a slip resistant surface.

The Pattern Stamped Concrete application process:

  1. When the fresh concrete slab has been laid, CCS Colour Hardener is applied and trowelled into the surface, which colours the top 2 to 3mm of concrete.
  2. The applicators apply CCS Release Agent powder or liquid to create a contrasting colour and to stop stamps from sticking to the concrete.
  3. Textured moulds are placed over the surface and applicators use their own body weight to impress the design into the concrete.
  4. After three days the surface is pressure washed. Once dry, it is coated with two coats of CCS Hardseal sealer.
