Bathroom fixtures from Caroma were selected in a recent bathroom remodelling project in Sydney.

Ty, Amy and Roxy, their British bulldog recently moved into their new home in the suburbs of Sydney. Having decided to completely transform their bathroom into a modern and contemporary room in their home, the couple shopped around for tiles, fittings and accessories to achieve their primary objective of bringing back space, life and light into this area.

They chose large white rectified tiles measuring 600 x 300mm for the walls for the spatial effect that white brings to small spaces. Additionally, Quantum Quartz engineered stone in Tornado Grey was used for the floor.

Since all the existing fittings in the bathroom had to be replaced, they visited the Home Ideas Centre in Alexandria with their builder and selected a combination of products that matched their taste.

Selected bathroom fittings included:

  • Caroma Cube wall faced toilet suite
  • Dorf rail shower with overhead
  • Stylus Newbury 1800 bath with four tile flange
  • Caroma Cube inset vanity basin inset into a custom built vanity with CaesarStone vanity top in Ice Snow
  • Dorf Kytin wall basin set, bath set and wall top assemblies (3-piece tapware)
  • Dorf Motif toilet roll holder, soap dish and 700mm towel rail, all featuring rectangular styles
A strip light above the vanity, four square downlights and Clipsal Satin light switches were used for the lighting. Ty and Amy chose the bevelled edge mirror, 1000 x 750mm in size to give a classic look on the builder’s recommendation. Aluminium plantation shutters in white were installed as window coverings to block out the sun and heat.
