Architectural Building Elements Pty Ltd presents Rodeca’s translucent building elements made from impact-resistant polycarbonate and designed for a versatile range of applications.

Polycarbonate panels

Rodeca’s polycarbonate panels are crystal clear, high impact thermoplastic with excellent thermal properties and impact resistance. The translucent panels can resist a broad temperature range from -40°C to +115°C and temporarily up to 130°C with no change in impact resistance. Key advantages also include good long term performance through UV protection; and 10-year warranty against yellowing, ageing and hailstones.

Rodeca’s translucent building elements can be used for window glazing, roofing, interior walls for partitions or exhibition stands, rain screens and curtain facades.

Framing systems

Rodeca’s translucent building elements come with perimeter frame profiles in thermally broken and non-thermally broken versions. They provide the main retention point of the panels to give a clean and watertight finish to the facade perimeter. These framing systems are available in mill or anodised finish or powder-coated in RAL colours.

Thermally broken aluminium frame profiles

Made of extruded aluminium, the thermally broken perimeter frame profiles feature ribs made of fibreglass reinforced polyamide PA 66 and gaskets made of TPE.

Non-thermally broken aluminium frame profiles

The non-thermally broken perimeter frame profiles are made of extruded aluminium with the gaskets made of TPE.
