ARBS, Australia’s only international air conditioning, refrigeration and building services trade exhibition, returns this year with some of the latest innovations in the industry on show for visitors.

To be held in Melbourne from 17-19 May, ARBS 2016 is already creating a buzz with the showcase to include a new air-to-water heat pump from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Seeley International’s latest model Climate Wizard; a new refrigerant from BluOne, HVAC roll forming, cutting systems and sheet metal equipment by Vicon, Bitzer’s large condenser, and a new Low Dewpoint Dehumidification unit from Air Change.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will display their new Q-ton air-to-water heat pump, a new generation high efficiency CO2 air-to-water heat pump, which has the ability to deliver sanitary hot water at 65-90°C very efficiently. Q-ton is specifically designed to transfer heat from the ambient air into a water heating system, resulting in significant carbon and energy savings compared with hot water boilers.

Seeley International’s latest model Climate Wizard generates more cool air volume than refrigerated systems, delivers fresh cool air indoors with no moisture added, and is proven to save up to 80 per cent of energy for cooling when compared to equivalent refrigerated systems performing the same duty.

BluOne’s TdX20 is a new non-ozone depleting refrigerant in Australia and is a sustainable and energy efficient replacement for R22. With the R22 refrigerant being phased out by 2020, customers will have to replace all their air conditioning equipment or remove R22 refrigerant from their units and replace it with an approved R22 replacement refrigerant. TdX20 is expected to save the customer 20 per cent of their energy bill while extending the life of the equipment.

Power Machinery will be displaying Vicon’s premium range of HVAC roll forming, cutting systems and sheet metal equipment. New machines on display at ARBS 2016 include the Pittsburgh Seam Closer and Dual Head Corner Insertion Machine.

Bitzer will present a new large condenser at the exhibition. The latest in the popular Evolution series of condensing units, pocket-sized compressors for the transport sector and game-changer combo units offering substantial efficiency savings to the end user, Bitzer’s new condenser will join several newly released products, giving visitors a chance to experience the full scope of the Evolution condensing unit combined with PS Series evaporator fitted with EVD-ice superheat control and EEV.

One of the first of its kind in the Australian HVAC market, Air Change’s new Low Dewpoint Dehumidification unit (LD-ACDHUM) has been designed to precisely dehumidify air to critically low dewpoint conditions.

ARBS 2016 will be held from Tuesday 17 May to Thursday 19 May 2016 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Melbourne.
