An established safety flooring product from Altro was specified for the upgrade of a worn-out floor at a leading restaurant in Brighton.

An important part of the Bayside landscape for over twenty years, the Pantry restaurant offers a stylish but relaxed environment to their patrons. Seeking to upgrade the restaurant floor, which was worn out from the high foot traffic, restaurant owner Guy Mainwaring began searching for a flooring solution that would not only stand the test of time but also provide a stylish look to match the interior design.

Though he was considering another vinyl product, Guy Mainwaring decided to go with the Altro floor after he heard about the long-term durability and lifecycle of the product and was convinced about its quality. Altro Walkway 20/VM20 was selected for the restaurant in the colour Pitch to match their interiors.

A popular product in the market for over 25 years, Altro Walkway/VM20 is a hard-wearing 2mm safety flooring solution that is easy to cove and weld; achieves ≥ 36 on the pendulum test; has R10 and P4 ratings for sustained slip resistance throughout the lifetime of the product; and offers PUR cleanability, and superior chemical and stain resistance.

The Altro Walkway/VM20 range offers a choice of 42 colours and shares its colour palette with Altro XpressLay, enabling users to combine both ranges when they need traditionally adhered and adhesive-free safety flooring in adjacent areas.
