Special light pendants were created by Aglo Systems for a 187-seat restaurant in Melbourne in a custom lighting project. San Antone by Bludso’s BBQ is a casual dining eatery at the Crown Casino complex in Melbourne.
Designed by Aglo Systems in collaboration with Techne Architects, Point of View and Crown for the Texas style eatery, the custom pendant lights complement the space without dominating the decor.
The complex luminaires went through a comprehensive process of prototype revisions before the final design was approved for installation. The custom design required the team to engineer innovative solutions for sheet metal manufacture to achieve the desired outcomes. The textured copper finish on the trough pendants presented another challenge as it needed to match the finish with existing pendants in the restaurant.
The collaboration was a success, helping achieve an impressive design outcome for the restaurant.
