Leone Lorrimer has been appointed national practice leader at GHDWoodhead. 

She has more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership positions in major international architecture and design companies, including as Group CEO of Design Worldwide Partnership (DWP) and director of Woods Bagot. 

“Leone brings energy and passion to take our architectural and design business to the next level. She has also achieved a significant profile in the industry both in Australia and globally,” says Grellan Symes, GHD’s Australian market leader - property and buildings. 

Lorrimer’s key projects include the multi-award-winning Qatar Science & Technology Park, Doha, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (Canberra Medallion) and the UTS Faculty of Information Technology, Sydney.

A prominent campaigner for gender pay equity, Lorrimer is a founding member of the Australian Institute of Architects’ National Committee for Gender Equity and a WGEA Pay Equity Ambassador. In 2016 she was recognised as one of Australia’s most influential women in The Australian Financial Review – Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards.
