Stakeholders from the lighting and facilities management industries will be attending the upcoming Sparc-FMA International Lighting & Facilities Event in Sydney.

To open on 30 May 2017, the three-day event will be held at the new International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, in the very heart of Vivid Sydney. Sparc-FMA is a joint initiative of Lighting Council Australia and the Facility Management Association of Australia, and will feature an exhibition showcasing the latest in lighting and facility management innovations from Australia and globally as well as a symposium involving world-renowned international and local experts in the fields of lighting and facility management, culminating in a Gala Dinner.

Sparc-FMA will be the largest gathering of facilities, related technologies and smart lighting industries in the southern hemisphere. For the first time, Australian and international facilities and lighting manufacturers, suppliers and service providers will be showing the latest developments under one roof, offering visitors a unique experience.

For exhibitors and sponsors,Sparc-FMA provides an opportunity to gain exposure in an event attended by industry professionals as well as interact with architects, designers, specifiers, property owners, facility managers, project managers, major lighting stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers and allied professionals across a broad range of related industries.

Observing that facility management and lighting are highly complementary industries, Lighting Council Australia’s new CEO Richard Mulcahy said the combined event represents an excellent opportunity for Australia’s lighting industry.

Nicholas Burt, CEO of the Facility Management Association of Australia adds that Sparc-FMA is underpinned by a long-term commitment and gains from being owned and managed by the two industries.
