Paul Gurney has joined Open House Melbourne as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Paul was previously the Executive Director of Next Wave, an Artist Development and Festival organisation that provides a professionally supported environment for emerging artists across all art forms. During his 4-year term, Paul co-led the delivery of two highly successful biennial festivals and contributed to significant organisational growth.

Joining Open House Melbourne at an exciting time of program development, Paul will be supported by an established project team that includes Eleni Kaponis, Laura Sullivan, Emma Telfer and a group of volunteers.

Welcoming Paul Gurney to the organisation, Open House Melbourne President Tim Leslie said he brings significant stakeholder experience and expertise in running major cultural projects to his new role.

Open House Melbourne provides unique opportunities for people to better understand the legacy and future impact of good design and architecture in the city. Open House Melbourne returns in 2015 on 25 and 26 July, and will be supported by a year-round program of events and activities.
