The Sheraton Noosa Resort has recently undergone a $10 million dollar refurbishment, designed by global architecture firm Woods Bagot.

Woods Bagot took a “guest first” approach to the design and refurbishment of the hotel, focusing on a classic and contemporary interiors for all 167 guestrooms, suites and villas.

“In creating a new aesthetic for the resort, our design was about responding and reconnecting with the new Noosa.  Ultimately the inherent beauty of Noosa married with the natural and organic themed innovative design offers a unique lifestyle experience for guests,” said Bronwyn McColl, Leader of Wood Bagot’s Interior Design (Brisbane).

A new porte-cochère has been added to the resort to create a grand entry, while the guest corridors and exterior façade have both been updated.

A newly overhauled Noosa Beach House restaurant (previously Cato’s restaurant and bar) now features a contemporary front facade, entry, bar, joinery and furniture selection.

The updated space takes full advantage of the natural light to provide a distinguished street presence, promoting an atmospheric shift that reflects the casual alfresco dining in Noosa and bringing to life celebrity chef, Peter Kuruvita’s modern cuisine.

The resort’s lounge bar reflects classic Noosa architecture, acting as a symbolic extension of the Queensland verandah by blurring the lines between the footpath and building’s facade.
