Thomson Adsett has announced new appointments to leadership positions.

Louise Cox has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer, while Ann-Maree Ruffles will be the new Group Director – Seniors Living.

A well-respected accountant and lawyer with over 30 years of experience practicing at, and leading various firms in Brisbane, Cox is particularly interested in working with creatives to support design talent.

Ann-Maree Ruffles, Thomson Adsett’s new Group Director – Seniors Living, is an architect with 30 years of experience, which includes 20 years running her own business, Ann-Maree Ruffles Architect, where she designed luxury homes, multi-residential apartments and housing for disability.

Ann-Maree says the new position offers the opportunity to bring her expertise and sensibilities in providing high quality design for the detached privately owned housing sector, to the disability and seniors living market. Commenting that clients have a much higher expectation of the quality of their living space, she noted that architects need to respond and continue raising their design standards.
