Marketing and sales is underway for the Vanguard apartment development in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern revealing further interior images and design detail.

The 18-level Vanguard project has been designed by Fender Katsalidis and is currently being peddled to the premium market in Malvern’s so-called “discerning” community.

Vanguard’s interior detail is the major focus of the campaign which includes new images of stone and timber finishes as well as signature kitchens designed by internationally acclaimed Melbourne chef, Shannon Bennett.

Bennett’s signature kitchen design for the Malvern apartments apparently draws inspiration from his extensive experience in commercial kitchens, but transposed for a multi-residential environment. Stone benchtops, integrated Miele appliances, and plenty of storage and workspace are some of the design highlights of the kitchen.

The famous chef has taken a minimalist approach for the finishes and has selected a suite of Miele appliances to be featured throughout Vanguard. The Vanguard Skyhome collection features house-sized kitchens incorporating an electric oven, benchtop steam oven, two-zone induction cooktop, induction wok cooktop, integrated dishwashing, refrigeration and freezer units, concealed rangehood vented externally, 14cm tall gourmet warmer drawers, detailed cabinetry and an additional wine conditioning unit, developed in conjunction with Yarra Valley winery, Levantine Hill.

Other amenity in Vanguard includes a gymnasium, a spa, sauna and sundeck, an executive lounge and media room, a fully- landscaped north-facing terrace on Level Four with barbecue and dining facilities as well as concierge service.

According to sales agent Marshall White, Vanguard will cater to the discerning tastes of the local owner-occupier market, which is expressing an insatiable desire for high-end, large-scale apartments.
