According to Aye, innovations in roller shutters, sun protection systems and doors/gates offer considerable potential for energy efficiency through the application of the latest systems and techniques.
The development of intelligent door and gate control systems has the potential to reduce energy consumption considerably, through faster opening/closing cycles, and the ability to offer defined opening heights depending on the size of entering/exiting vehicles.
R+T Australia 2014 will also have an educational element designed to increase professional expertise and knowledge of the latest developments in energy-efficient intelligent building design.
