The latest furniture design from Swedish style studio Front allows consumers to produce their own storage configurations using ‘Tetris’ modular blocks.

Named after the puzzle video game, Front’s Tetris modules are offered in square and rectangular shapes of varying depths and can be wall-mounted or piled on top of each other in any combination to form furniture.

The blocks can be left open for those wanting a bookcase, or alternatively, glass or solid doors can be fitted to create a cabinet.

Every block can be a distinct design and colour, made from either wood, felt, copper, leather, brass and steel, with details such as steel legs and leather handles added to further personalise the design.

Front launched the Tetris system at the recent Stockholm Design Week.
