14 projects up for 2016 People’s Choice Award – Voting now open Fourteen residential projects have been shortlisted for the National Architecture Awards’ 2016 People’s Choice Award, which gives members of the public the opportunity to select their favourite from Australia’s best home designs. The Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) celebrated World Architecture Day on Monday 3 October by opening up voting for the People’s Choice Award. Shortlisted by the national jury, the projects for the coveted award range from discreet alterations to grand works of art, all showcasing the best residential architecture from around the country. Voting is open until 5:00pm AEDST Thursday 27 October, one week before the National Architecture Awards ceremony. Members of the public also stand to win some great prizes for voting in the People’s Choice Award by telling AIA in 25 words or less why their chosen project is their favourite.
