THIS aluminum shingle roof is made from 95 per cent recycled aluminum.

The Classic Metal Roofing System reaches the peak of ‘cool roof’ technology with its Rustic and Oxford aluminum roofing shingles.

The Kynar 500® PVDF resin-based metal coating provides protection against weathering, aging and pollution.

The capability of Kynar 500 resins to deliver long term durability is unparalleled in the industry. The architect’s first choice for performance finishes overseas is now available in Australia.

These products utilise new infrared reflective pigments in their Kynar 500® coating to achieve total solar reflectivity of 25 per cent and more.

The integral airspace between the naturally reflective aluminum shingles and the roof decking prevents heat transfer by conduction. Inside roof temperatures are reduced by 30 per cent and more in comparison to other roofing materials.

Benefits include lighter per sqm than other products, interlocking shingles keeps out wind, drafts and birds. The roof does not have a performance problem or warranty limitations with salt air or being in coastal regions; it’s installed on ply; and two styles of Oxford for a low profile tile or slate look and Rustic for the traditional shingle look.

The roofing has a BRANZ Appraisal Certificate for use throughout Australia, including cyclonic regions.

These shingles seem really good. We do a lot of metal roofing in Sydney, but it's the sheet metal. We use a heat resistant paint by Astec. The shingles look like another good option I need to look into. I bookmarked this post thanks. Dinah home roofing

You give some great reasons to decide to go with metal roofing materials. While I think it is a good decision, it is really crucial to start by researching your options. My first step is always McGraw Hill's Sweets Directory of Construction Products and Manufacturers. It is a truly valuable resource. Though I do work for them, they are honestly the most complete directory I have found and I love the CAD details you can download from their site. I would definitely recommend them.

Roof keeps you warm and dry and adds to the beauty of your home that is why I am considering roofers to do it for me because I believe they are more knowledgeable than anyone else.
