At Swissbau 2012 in Basel, January 2012, German bathroom
fittings manufacturer Dornbracht presented a groundbreaking application of its
shower technology.
The Horizontal Shower includes the company’s Ambiance Tuning
Technique technology,
With this new technology, Dornbracht says it is “expanding
the vertical showering experience” as “the addition of a horizontal counterpart
fulfils the longing for natural elements and a natural water experience” - meaning
that for the first time, its shower technology can be enjoyed lying down.
They say the user can enjoy the Horizontal Shower lying on
his or her stomach or back. It was designed to be used both in private and
public spas.
