Green Cities 2015: Connect, a three day sustainability conference held in Melbourne, will see over 50 speakers discussing pertinent topics for the green building industry, including a keynote from internationally acclaimed urban planner, Larry Beasley.

This year’s event will include a variety of sessions ranging from presentations on biomimicry and design inspired by nature to interactive panel discussions on urban planning.

Triple bottom line economics, responsible investment, changemaking and lessons from London urban planning will also be hot topics at the three day event.

David Tickle of HASSELL, Katharina Nieberler-Walker of Conrad Gargett Riddel Ancher Mortlock Woolley, Sasha Coles of ASPECT, David Holm of Cox Architecture and Michael Pawlyn of Exploration Architecture will all be involved in the event, as will a variety of members of the Green Building Council Australia. 

Weapons of Mass Creation, a competition that challenges industry to innovate, create and reinvigorate to deliver more sustainable cities, will round out the event with the People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice to be awarded on the final afternoon.
