Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (fjmt) has promoted nine of its employees to more senior roles in a bid to strengthen the leadership and capability of its multidisciplinary studio-based practice.

A press release from the firm announced the following changes in job roles:

Elizabeth Carpenter - Managing Principal

Elizabeth is a founding Principal of fjmt and a leader in the profession. She has received acclaim for her work on many of fjmt’s most awarded and celebrated projects and most recently was recipient of the 2014 University of Sydney Alumni Award for Professional Achievement.

Elizabeth takes up a new position as fjmt Managing Principal to strengthen studio leadership and practice management.

Adrian Yap – Principal

Adrian has led the development of many of fjmt’s most important and acclaimed recent projects across a broad range of typologies with an emphasis on public benefit outcomes.

Adrian is appointed Principal based in the UK, leading competition-winning proposals through to implementation.

Lina Francis-Jones - Senior Associate

Lina has been with fjmt since its establishment in 2002 and has undertaken a key role in some of the practice’s most significant competition-winning projects. During this time, Lina has focused on the development of fjmt’s interior architecture and design.

Lina is appointed Senior Associate and is Discipline Head of fjmt Interiors.
 

James Perry - Senior Associate

James has led fjmt competition- and award-winning design teams through every phase of development, and across a broad range of project typologies.

James is appointed Senior Associate and Studio Leader: Design Research and Development.

Christopher Bridge – Associate

Chris has been with fjmt for ten years, undertaking key roles in competition-winning and highly-awarded projects. Chris is highly skilled across all phases of project development.

Andrew Chung – Associate

Andrew has been with fjmt since its establishment in 2002 and has undertaken key roles in all phases of acclaimed and award-winning projects throughout Australia and South-East Asia, with particular expertise in facade technology and systems.

Jodie Matthews – Associate

Jodie is a highly experienced and skilled professional. She has led fjmt teams across a broad range of typologies, particularly mixed use residential, with a focus on implementation and project procurement.

Phillip Pham – Associate

Phillip has been with fjmt for close to ten years, undertaking key roles in conceptual design development, communications technology and research.

Phillip is appointed Associate and Studio Leader: Convergent Systems.

Tim Harper - Practice Manager

Tim has been with fjmt for ten years, undertaking key roles in professional practice management and systems design.
