Architects and architecture students have been invited to imagine the architectural relationship between Australia and Denmark through drawing in a competition hosted by The Australian Institute of Architects Foundation (AIAF).

In celebration of the arrival of Denmark’s Johannes Molander Pederson and Morten Rask Gregersen of NORD architects to Australian shores, the drawing competition has been announced by the AIAF and will coincide with the duo’s participation in the 2015 Droga Architects in Residence.

The top prize is a trip for two to Sydney to attend the public lecture that will be hosted by NORD on 30 March at the Sydney Opera House and includes return airfares, accommodation at the Blue Hotel and dinner for two at Otto Ristorante.

The competition will be judged by chair of the AIAF Edmon Capon and Shaun Carter (president of the Institute’s NSW Chapter) and the winning drawing and runner up will be hung in the Droga apartment, home to the Architect in Residence program.

The competition will close on 12 March before the winner’s announcement on 16 March.
