The University of Melbourne is set to host the 2011 Global Architecture Profiling (GAP) exhibition from 17-28 October 2011.

GAP (Global Architecture Profiling) is a student organisation within the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning that engages with contemporary architects, landscape architects, urban designers and planners around the world to cultivate cross-cultural knowledge and ideas.

Through technology, GAP targets different cities and aims to showcase innovative international architecture and design projects back in Melbourne.

In 2011, the GAP exhibition focuses on Santiago de Chile - a city with a vibrant, unique contemporary design culture - and showcases the projects of 10 contemporary architectural firms including Mathis Klotz, Moure Rivera, Alejandro Aravena Arquitectos, Gonzalo Mardones, Grupo Talca, Infinski, Land Arquitectos and Marcelo Cortes.
